MEMPHIS
"We Will Always Love You"
MOVEMENT
Memphis, we have designed a protocol whereby you can join us as individuals, families, communities and businesses as a resource to become those that can actively show your love to your great city, Memphis Tennessee. Many recent surveys, reviews and research organizations have placed Memphis in a light of darkness. This should not be. Memphis has a great and tremendous legacy with very well educated, talented and gifted people that this world need to enjoy and glean from. The heart and soul of Memphis refuse to be trodden down by a reputation of some that are misguided, defeated, and that feel hopeless. There are more for Memphis than are against her.
Please join us as we show the entire world that we won't give up on Memphis. We will join with the many precious people in our leadership that are doing their very best, with all they have, to make this city a better place. Therefore, please review and include into your own life, the following principles that will make you a person that will always (love) Memphis.
Become one of the greatest assets this city can afford. Thank you for your continued support.
1) Love yourself- There are many people that want to love you but you have to love yourself. Show this city that you are worthy of its love - You can easily do this by:
a) Respecting yourself, do things that will bring continual honor to your life and shun away from anyone or anything that will bring dishonor into your life. Memphis,"We Will Always Love You" Movement.
b) Incorporate good character traits into your personality such as: being positive, empathy, compassion, care, love, concern, integrity, faithfulness, discipline, forgiveness, patience, consideration, respect for authority, service, etc.
c) Be cordial and smile so people can feel welcome, secure and accepted in your presence.- A great smile shows your fellow citizen's that you love them like the lord asked us too.
d) Pray for the city and all of its leaders that we may live and lead a quiet and peaceable life with all godliness and honesty.
e) Give and support the different charities as they share their love for our people that need our help.
2) Show your neighbor that you care about them; even if you have had many disagreements. Override them all with a constant show of love. You can:
a) Say hello when you see them.
b) Accept an added responsibility to bless their children and be a good example to them when you can. Revive the sense of being a village again.
c) Cut your grass and help you neighbor out if they seem to need some help.
d) Remove old vehicles that you no longer use. This hurts the image of the community and can hurt property value.
e) Keep your music to a minimum. Some people actually suffer emotional and mental ailments whereby loud music is hurtful. Plus loud music is easily heard in the quietness of your neighbor's home during their time to relax and sleep. Our neighbors work on all three tours and many are trying to sleep. By the way, check to see if your dog is barking too much. Place them inside to keep from disturbing your neighbors.
h) When you have your parties, bring it inside at least by 9 or 10: p.m.
i) Don't litter.
j) No more potty mouth, cussing, foul and vulgar language in public, please. This will run off visitors and those that may be seeking a place to bring business. Also it tells your fellow citizens that you are disrespectful. Remember, we are here to show Memphians that we love them.
k) Start seeing everyone as if they are family; Brothers and Sisters, Fathers and Mothers.
l) Encourage, be kind and be a loving person. Never stop, no matter what.
3) If you have been incarcerated, there are many employers that will give you a job. They will give you a second chance. Do not go back to the life of crime. You will end up back in jail. Your life and purpose are too valuable. Do it for those that love you too.
4) Pay your taxes. This act will reflect your honesty and help do your part to help finance city, governmental and national endeavors.
5) Become a patriot; love and speak well of your city, state, and country. Yes, we have things that need correction and immediate attention, but we must still love and respect our nation and its flag. This will help keep us galvanized.
6) If someone disagree with you, never disrespect them and treat them as an arch enemy. Beware of people that try to brainwash you into hating people because they don't agree with their agenda.
7) Start back reconnecting with family and friends. Make sure however that they mean you well and that they are willing to reciprocate love and care.
8) When you have to talk on the phone in public especially at the movies, go out into the hallway with your conversation. Pease don't make noises that disturb others that are trying to listen and watch the movie. Show your love Memphis.
9) Help new employees with their new jobs so they can become as professional as you are. The business owners will love this as well.
10) When you arrive at work on time, work while you are there and stay off the phone. The individual and corporate daily production is needed for our awesome businesses to be successful.
11) Treat people like you would want to be treated. Also be kind to animals. They do everything to make you happy.
12) Be kind to the poor, elderly, widowed, disabled, homeless, outcast, and to those that are suffering and seem to have lost hope.
